By Car

Getting to Glenwood Hot Springs is easy and beautiful via Interstate 70. From the east, you’ll drive through Glenwood Canyon, a spectacular display of raw nature and highway engineering. Take exit 116 and turn right on North River Street. From the west, drive east on Interstate 70 alongside the Colorado River to exit 116 and follow the signs to the resort.  From Aspen, you’ll take Hwy 82 over the Colorado River to 6th Street where you will turn right.

By Air

Commercial and private jets fly into Aspen, Denver, Eagle, Grand Junction, and Rifle. The closest airport, Rifle-Garfield County Airport, accepts non-commercial flights only. Ground transportation is available at all of the airports. Approximate drive times for the airports are as follows: Approximate drive times from the airports: 

  • Eagle County Regional Airport – 30 min.
  • Aspen Airport – 1 hour
  • Grand Junction Airport –1.25 hours
  • DEN – 3 hours
  • Rifle Garfield County Airport – 25 min. 

By Train

Amtrak’s California Zephyr runs the line from Chicago – to Denver – to Glenwood Springs – to San Francisco. The train stops just across the river from Glenwood Hot Springs, where you can walk the pedestrian bridge over to the resort. Car rental services (Budget and Enterprise) are also available in Glenwood Springs.

By Bus

The Colorado Bustang runs from Denver to Grand Junction stopping in Glenwood Springs at the West Glenwood Park-n-Ride, Wulfohn Road. View their West Line schedule for tickets and details.
