Our Employee of the Month for November is Vicki Taboada. Vicky is one of our most cherished reservationists at the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort. In her almost 12 years with the company, she has spent time working just about every position in the Lodge front office department.
Vicky’s supervisor Dena Jackson describes her fondly. “Vicky is truly dedicated to ensuring an amazing experience for each and every guest. Over the years, she has established lasting relationships with repeat guests and is often asked for upon guests' arrival. Not only is Vicky awesome with our guests, she is also generous, considerate, caring and compassionate. In stressful situations, Vicky will often say something funny to lighten the mood. She never hesitates to offer assistance or kind, comforting words to anyone in need and is an excellent role model to her peers. She often assists in onboarding and training of new staff, is incredibly knowledgeable and always eager to help. I am endlessly grateful to have such a wonderful and kind hearted person on my team. Congratulations Vicky! Well deserved!”
When asked, Vicky says, “The recognition was a complete surprise! I certainly appreciated it, it was encouraging to see all the smiling faces as I was presented with my plaque. I have found working at the Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge an enjoyable experience because all the departments work as a team, and I have workmates and managers that I feel give their all for the team effort! They truly put the guests first and make the Glenwood Hot Springs experience one to be proud of! Thank you!"
