Please welcome our new Pool Manager, Mr. Charles Taylor Mays! Taylor has been an employee of the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort since May of 2015. He started his career at Glenwood Hot Springs as a Lifeguard, progressed to Team Lead Lifeguard and Head Lifeguard by November of 2015, and was promoted to Assistant Aquatics Manager in January of 2019. In August of this year, Taylor was selected as our new Pool Manager.
Taylor grew up in Glenwood Springs, graduated from Glenwood Springs High School in 2010 as a scholar athlete and a member of the National Honor Society, went on to study Mechanical Engineering at Colorado State University and is also a graduate of Colorado Mountain College. As our Pool Manager, Taylor is CPO certified, and one of only a small handful of Lifeguard Instructor Trainers on the western slope with the American Red Cross.
Taylor says, “I am extremely honored to have this opportunity here at the Glenwood Hot Springs. Throughout my employment, I have been fortunate enough to have been surrounded by an exemplary group of individuals and mentors. I look forward to furthering the development of this team along with myself, while continuing to provide the safest and most enjoyable experience to all of our wonderful guests.”
