Congratulations!
Our Employee of the Month for September is Emily Neely. Emily is currently our Lodge Housekeeping Supervisor at the Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge and has been a member of the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort Team since July, 2021. Emily has proven through hard work and dedication you can achieve so much, but it’s her team mindset and “get it done” attitude that got her where she is today. Our Lodge Manager, Loretta Ayala, has this to say about Emily. “There have been so many times where Emily has exceeded expectations, it is difficult to choose just one. However, what stands out more to me than anything else, is Emily’s ability and capacity to take on more duties and to help others. Emily will jump in and help any department. She has worked as a lifeguard, covered for maintenance, housekeeping and guest services. Emily’s willingness to cross train in other areas has been instrumental in our survival while short staffed. What resonates for me, is her willingness to learn and her desire to make us better. Emily really cares about the guest experience, is always positive and wants to ensure our guests have the best possible experience.”
When presented with her award, Emily replied, “It felt amazing to be selected for employee of the month. If you work really hard and show up for work every day, then you will be noticed for your hard work. You will feel great about the work you do for a living. My Dad always told me, ‘you go to work unless you’re on your deathbed’, so that is how I became a really hard worker.”
