Guard on Duty: Safety First! Pool Policies to Keep in Mind

Swimming and splashing at the pool is mostly all fun in games. There are certain policies to keep in mind before heading over for a soak, that help to keep all guests safe at the Pool. Remember these tips when packing for a fun day at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort:

●     Keep floaties small. While fun donut-shaped floats are welcome, be sure to measure your blow-up unicorn before buying your ticket. We don’t allow floaties larger than 48-inches in diameter. This is to ensure that lifeguards can see around and underneath the toy.

●     Umbrellas stay in the car. Umbrellas are great for rain and sun protection, just not at Glenwood Hot Springs Pool. Shade structures of any kind are not allowed at the pool—they can be dangerous if the wind gets ahold of them.

  • Soft toys only. It’s perfectly okay to bring soft items, like foam or mesh toys, for playing a game of catch at the pool. However all hard toys, including rubber balls and pump up water guns, are not allowed.
