Our Employee of the Month for August is Debra Hewitt. Debra is our Human Resources Administrator here at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort, and has been with the company since December of 2016. She was nominated by several managers as Employee of the Month for her positive attitude and willingness to take initiative beyond her regular job assignments. Deb is knowledgeable and understanding with her fellow employees, demonstrates integrity in her job responsibilities and has always treated fellow employees with the utmost respect, professionalism and kindness.
During our closure and reopening, Deb has shown tremendous teamwork and cooperation. Her can-do attitude and willingness to help has been a big part of what has allowed us to do more with less. Deb says “I am extremely honored to be receiving the employee of the month award. I am earnestly grateful for the recognition I have received for my work and really enjoy working at Glenwood Hot Springs Resort. Winning this award would not have been possible without the inspiration I have received from my Supervisors and my colleagues, for whom I have the deepest respect, and from whom I have derived the strength to challenge myself and perform better at each stage. I sincerely thank everyone for helping me reach a stage where I can proudly hold up this award as a mark of my achievement.”
