Our Employee of the Month for August is Brandi Ward, who is already a Team Lead with the Lodge’s housekeeping department after only eight months as a member of the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort team. Brandi started working here in December 2020, and it immediately became evident that she is a very dependable and thoughtful person.
“Brandi has shown on several occasions how much she cares about her position and our guests. I’ve witnessed her going above and beyond many times, making sure staff and guests have everything they need for the day, servicing vacuums and scrubbing floors and stairwells on her hands and knees, all without being asked or instructed to do so,” said Lodge Housekeeping Supervisor Dustin Morgan. “Brandi always shows up on time looking professional and with a smile on her face. She works extremely hard and is always on the lookout for other projects to tackle and shows true dedication and pride in her work.”
When presented with the award, Brandi replied, “At first I was so confused and so surprised! But then, gratitude just overflowed out of me. I love working here, and I’m flattered that my efforts have been noticed. This place is great, along with all the people working here. I’m so proud to be a part of this team and will be doing all I can to continue in doing what I do.”
