Meet the Team

Ann

Ann holds a master’s degree in education and is a certified Pilates instructor.  She is also a Gold Certified Group Fitness Instructor with the American Council on Exercise and regularly attends national fitness and mind-body conferences.  Ann teaches a Pilates Fusion class at the club. Outside of class she loves skiing, biking, hiking and climbing.   

Annig

To say that Annig is devoted to yoga is an understatement. She began teaching Hatha Yoga in 2002 and has not stopped learning or teaching since.  Over the past 20 years Annig has completed over 1000 hours of yoga study and certification. Annig teaches Prajna Yoga, H2Yoga and SATYA-asana Yoga.

Brittney

Brittney is one of the athletic club’s personal trainers and works at the front desk.  Brittney enjoys the relations she has established with members over the past couple years through her involvement at the club.

Cindy D.

Cindy is an accomplished runner and triathlete. She is also a passionate yoga instructor who has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She is certified to teach YogaFit® levels 1 – 3. Cindy instructs Yoga for All Levels, a Hatha Yoga class that gently introduces all the basic yoga postures and blends balance, strength and flexibility.

Cindy F.

Cindy has been with Glenwood Hot Springs for over 30 years. Cindy graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in Recreation and Health with an emphasis on Exercise Physiology and Nutrition.  She instructs water aerobics, a popular class that promotes overall fitness while being gentle on the joints.  Cindy is also a certified TRX instructor.

Debbi

Debbi is a Mad Dogg® certified spinning instructor and teaches several spinning classes at the club.  Debbi’s high energy and enthusiasm are contagious and addictive no matter which spin class she is leading! 

Erin

Erin teaches Resorative Hatha Yoga. In 2007, she completed a 200-hour Contemplative Hatha Yoga teacher training course. Since then she has acquired certifications in Prenatal Yoga, Adaptive and Chair Yoga, Senior Yoga, Nada Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. She leads dynamic practices that empower each individual to work respectfully within his or her diverse abilities.

Jenny

Jenny’s high-energy Zumba® class is a fun way to get fit. Her class features an upbeat Latin rhythm and dance moves that build body confidence.  Choreography incorporates the dance styles of hip-hop, salsa, merengue, mambo and more.  Jenny is part of the Zumba instructor’s network, where she continually receives and learns new choreography. Outside of the club Jenny enjoys spending time doing just about anything with her family and works as a cosmetologist.

Jessica

Jessica is one of the club’s personal trainers.  Aside from personal training, Jess is certified in Barre, TRX, and yoga.  Jess instructs a Barre/TRX Fusion class which incorporates strength and conditioning training elements of both Barre and TRX.  Jess also teaches Power Flow Yoga at the club.

Kelley

Kelley is the athletic club’s fitness coordinator.  Aside from her fitness coordinating duties, Kelley holds a diverse instructional background.  She is certified and has experience in teaching strength and conditioning classes, water aerobics, spinning, and Pilates.  At the club Kelley is a personal trainer and teaches Pilates Reformer, spinning, and water aerobics.

Lisa

Lisa teaches Yogalates and yoga at the club. Her 90-minute Saturday morning Sivananda Yoga class incorporates the five points of yoga: proper exercise (Asanas), proper breathing (Pranayama), proper relaxation (Savanna), proper diet (vegetarian) and positive thinking and meditation (Vedanta and Dhyana). She also teaches Yogalates.

Lynn

Lynn is one of the athletic club’s long-time instructors where she instructs spinning. When she’s not leading spinning classes, she is teaching PE/Health at Glenwood Springs High School. Lynn has also applied her fitness and motivational skills coaching sports including track, volleyball and cheer.

Marcy

Marcy is a certified yoga instructor and Ayurveda counselor.  At the club she teaches Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra, where she uses a holistic approach to include Ayurveda as an extension to complement movement, breath and meditation in her classes.

Marissa

Marissa is certified through the Pilates Method Alliance and has been teaching Pilates for 20 years.  At the club Marissa specializes in Pilates Reformer instruction.  She is a Pilates and Barre teacher trainer.

Mary

Mary has been a fitness fixture at the athletic club since she started teaching during the aerobics craze in the 1980s. She has experience in a several aerobic disciplines, as well as in strength and weight training, nutrition, Pilates, yoga, senior aerobics and holistic health. Mary teaches Functional Fitness which emphasizes strength, endurance, balance and flexibility.

Michelle

Michelle teaches Total Body Tone, a class that builds strength and core conditioning though the use of Tabata intervals, a form of high intensity interval training (HIIT). Her workouts are fun and fast-paced. Michelle is a certified group fitness instructor and a Fitour Primary and Advanced Yoga instructor. Outside the workout studio, Michelle likes hiking, paddle boarding and beach vacations.

Patti

Patti is one of the club’s diversified instructors.  She teaches Sunrise Yoga on Friday mornings and helps instruct spinning, Pilates, and several other group fitness classes.  After losing 30 pounds in 1980 through diet and exercise, Patti was determined to stick to a healthier lifestyle.  Over the years she has inspired countless students to embrace healthy living.

Patty

Patty has been a fitness instructor with Glenwood Hot Spring Athletic Club for 38 years.  She is certified in group fitness and Barre.  Patty instructs a class called Morning Mix Up which incorporates cardio fitness, strength, core, and balance components.  She also instructs water aerobics classes in the pool.  Patty enjoys the long-term relationships she has formed over the many years she has been employed with the company.

Sharma

Sharma is an accomplished athlete. She is a Boston Marathon finisher, a veteran triathlete and a certified Ironman Coach.   At the club Sharma teaches HIIT, a high intensity interval training class.

Stacee

Stacee has been teaching water aerobics classes throughout Colorado for over 20 years.  Stacee retired to the valley in 2017.  At the club Stacee instructs water aerobics on Friday mornings.  Stacee enjoys biking, skiing, and many other outdoor activities the Roaring Fork valley provides!

Suzanne

Suzzanne is the club’s primary Pilates instructor, certified since 2003 in all levels of Pilates. She teaches Pilates Chair, Pilates Mat, Pilates Reformer and Pilates Bands, Balls and Rings classes. Pilates consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength and endurance movements that emphasize use of the abdominals, lower back, hips and thighs. Outside of keeping her students physically fit, Suzzanne is a full-time musician and recording artist.

Tara

Tara devotes herself to health, fitness, and meditation daily.  Tara specializes in yoga, TRX, and Barre and has spent over 700 hours studying yoga over the last ten years.  At the club, Tara teaches TRX and Barre which are both low impact strength and conditioning classes.

Tiffany

Tiffany has been teaching at the Club since 2004 and is certified to teach spin classes, group fitness classes, and TRX. At the club, Tiffany teaches TRX, which stands for Total body Resistance Exercise and incorporates a suspension training system to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core.
