Q: What is the best way to schedule my spa appointments?
A: To ensure the availability of services you would like to experience, we strongly recommend that spa appointments be arranged well in advance of your day of treatment. If your stay is with our Lodge, we encourage the arrangement of your spa appointments when booking your room reservations, or by calling the front desk.

When making your appointment, please let us know of any gender preferences for your therapist. We will do our best to accommodate your requests. Some treatments are gender specific. Please feel assured that our therapists are certified /licensed professionals and will do everything they can to make you feel comfortable throughout your spa experience.
Q: When should I plan on arriving for my spa treatments?
A: To maximize all the wonderful amenities we have to offer, please arrive 20 to 30 minutes before your first scheduled appointment. This will allow you to prepare yourself at a gentle pace for your specialized day of nurturing. Prior to your scheduled service, you may enjoy a steam bath, or just recline in your robe in the serenity room for 10 minutes or more, it is highly beneficial to quiet your mind. Each service is scheduled precisely on time for your convenience and as a courtesy for the next guest.
Q: What is considered proper spa attire?
A: The Spa of the Rockies provides complimentary slippers, a luxurious robe, and locker room facilities for all of our spa guests. In preparation for your service, please disrobe to your comfort level. All of our staff is professionally trained in appropriate draping to ensure your modesty and comfort levels are always taken into consideration.
We request that you do not bring any valuable items to the spa. The Spa of the Rockies is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
Q: What is considered proper etiquette in the tranquil environment?
A: In order to maintain the peaceful and soothing environment that you have chosen to experience, we ask that you turn off your cell phones and pagers before entering through the Spa doors. Additionally, we promote a smoke-free and alcohol-free environment. The use of alcohol is incompatible with sensitive spa treatments. The Spa reserves the right to reschedule services for guests who appear to be intoxicated.
Q: What is included in your amenities?
A: Our steam facilities are complimentary for guests who have scheduled spa services. A $20 daily fee will apply on those days when services have not been scheduled. Bring as few belongings as needed due to our limited locker space. The Spa offers complimentary teas, various water specials, and rejuvenating snacks for our guests. In the case of a full day of services, you may order one of our healthy superfood protein Vita shakes.
Q: What should I expect in the way of gratuities?
A: Our services do not include an automatic gratuity. You are welcome to leave a gratuity for your therapists, if you so desire. For your convenience envelopes are available upon check out.
Q: What is the preferred method of payment?
A: We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, room charges to Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge, Gift cards, and cash.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We request notice 24-hour in advance of your scheduled service to avoid cancellation or no-show appointment charges. In the case that 24-hours notice is not provided, the full service amount will be charged on any late cancellations or no-show appointments. Packages are non-refundable.
Q: What is your spa age requirement?
A: The Spa of the Rockies is a spa experience for those 16 years of age or older. Our mission is to maintain the integrity of the relaxing, nurturing atmosphere. We respectfully request that guests do not bring their children with them. Teens between the ages of 16 and 18 may receive services with signed parental permission or must be accompanied by a parent.
Q: How do you handle special medical needs?
A: When arriving at the spa you will be asked to complete a brief guest pre-treatment form to assist the therapists in providing you with the best possible treatment. We wish to ensure your safety and comfort. Please disclose any pertinent medical conditions that may affect your spa experience on this form. Spa of the Rockies assures and maintains confidentiality of the highest professional standard.
Our guests that are with child may receive any nail, makeup services, and facial services that are not invasive or abrasive. Mothers-to-be that are safely in their second trimester may receive a prenatal massage. We encourage you to check with your physician before booking any spa services. We will not, however, perform wraps, hot stone services, deep tissue work, or strenuous massage if you are pregnant.
