Our Employee of the Month for April is Yolanda Lopez. Yolanda is a Room Attendant at the Glenwood Hot Springs Lodge and has worked for Glenwood Hot Springs Resort since March, 2009. Yolanda’s knowledge of our Lodge makes her very versatile. She is happy to take on additional responsibility, is detail oriented, and always fair with other employees when re-assigning duties or helping out other departments. Her ability to adjust and be flexible is a shining example of how team work can create a work environment that is fun and efficient. She is frequently requested by returning guests as their room attendant because of her pleasant and helpful attitude. Yolanda is one of our behind-the-scenes heroes that works hard and always seeks opportunities where we can improve as a team. She was nominated by her supervisors who say, “Yolanda is a great team player. She is hard working, and has a consistently positive attitude. She works well with others and is always friendly towards our guests. “When presented with her award, Yolanda replied, “I’m so excited I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. I feel very proud of myself and am very happy working here. What a surprise! Thank you very much.” Thank you Yolanda for your continued commitment to this company.
