Peaceful Treasures of tradition

How peaceful the breeze was as I sat on the deck above the pool listening to the sounds of the warm water and peoples chatter.

I was a teen at the time and enjoyed my own room located in the lodge that is now the athletic club. The rooms were small but oh so peaceful to wake up to the sound of the water right outside my window. My parents were in a room next door. My mother loved glenwood springs.

It was a place of solace for her and glenwood became a place we would frequent on many occasions. As I grew to adulthood, married, had children I made sure glenwood was a part of our family tradition.

As my children married and had children I had the privilege of taking their children, my grandchildren with them as well to the soothing waters of glenwood. On my last visit I had the opportunity to bask in these healing waters with my great grandson. Four generations all together sharing the beauty of the west, glenwood springs!
