My beloved Hot springs lodge!I've been coming for 58 years. All of my life! Mommy and Daddy started bringing us every summer.
We stayed in the red stone building when it was a Hotel. We have been staying in the lodge since it was built. We lost Mommy 4 years ago and Sister, Dad and I still continue to come. When we were kids we roamed around all of the stores after our day of swimming. We'd go to the tasty freeze and play miniature golf and then back to the pool!!!!! We would go to underground pizza. There was another pizza place down the road that no longer exists. It had a train going around the ceiling.
My favorite store in the world is still the curio shop across the street with the same Indian doll that is still there today. Every one always has recognized us throughout the years and treated us with such kindness. For breakfast we to this day sit in the first booth on the left for breakfast even though it's just the three of us. You have no idea how much it means to us that your gracious staff stills allows us this indulgence. My father is Bob Wert. Thank you for all you do!!!
